Run to the hills … if you’re not a fan of rock. TeamRock Radio has signed an agreement with the BBC to re-broadcast some of Bruce Dickinson’s BBC Radio 6 Music shows. The station axed Iron Maiden lead singer Dickinson’s Friday Night Rock Show in 2010, but the deal means 52 of the shows will be aired weekly on TeamRock and available on demand. Commercial broadcasters have been keen to do deals to access the BBC’s archive vault, with TeamRock agreeing one last year for the late Tommy Vance’s final programme. TeamRock’s head of radio Moose (yes, really) called the Dickinson deal “a great gift for rock fans the world over”. Aces high!
