Rob da Bank is so much more than a lover of leftfield electronic sounds. His eclectic record label and music brand, Sunday Best, has become a force to be reckoned with, and as Bestival – the festival founded by Rob and his wife Josie – gets set to celebrate its 10th anniversary (along with plans to launch the event in North America and the rest of Europe), the charismatic DJ is becoming just as well known for his entrepreneurial flair.

For his summer session, Rob has put together an exclusive mix inspired by the party island of Ibiza, where he regularly performs. “I first went to the Café Del Mar back when it was more of a beach shack on some rocks and I have to admit shedding a tear at sunset,” he says. “It was like a mecca for me, at that time, with all the amazing ambient and electronica records about. This mix is a few of those classic sunset records from Ibiza and a handful of new ones that would probably go down well this summer.”

Bestival takes place from 4-7 September on the Isle of Wight
