A collection of photos showing dads chaperoning their daughters to a concert have been doing the rounds on the web this week. The pictures, which were taken at a One Direction concert, clearly show the various emotions of the adults – from boredom to downright despair.

Taking your tween to hear a group of Brylcreemed young men sing and dance for more than two hours might seem like the very definition of unconditional love, but we want to know what lengths you've gone for your children.

Have you taken them to Disneyland Paris and queued for hours to watch It's a Small World? Have you driven them up and down the country for sport, or sacrificed important meetings to watch them play the recorder badly in a school talent show? Tell us how you've gone the extra mile for your offspring in the comments below.
