Quote of the Day comes from a CNN story heralding Garth Brooks's residency at the Wynn Encore in Las Vegas.

It is fair to say the country star is not crippled by self-doubt – but then again, as the best-selling solo singer of all time, he probably needn't be. In fact, Garth sees himself as knit into an altogether loftier firmament of artists than your Chers, or your Eltons, or any of the other minnows who also take up multi-million dollar gigs in Vegas.

Asked how resort CEO Steve Wynn would be making any money out of his five-year, weekend residency, Garth is swift to identify a category mistake.

"He isn't. He's just not," Brooks responded. "He's a collector of art, you know," referring to the CEO's collection of paintings by Cezanne, Van Gogh, Picasso and other world class-artists.
