As Underworld’s seminal single Born Slippy (Nuxx) reaches the riotous age of 18 this year, not to mention 20 years since their third album Dubnobasswithmyheadman, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde take to the Maida Vale studios to perform as part of the BBC’s 6 Music Live series.

Ahead of their show at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 11 October - a particularly odd gig given the stately, sit-down venue - below is a live stream of today’s set, taking place at the legendary venue at 12pm GMT.

So far this week, Johnny Marr and First Aid Kit have passed through the Maida Vale doors, with performances from La Roux and James still to come.
