On 6 October, Johnny Marr performed the first set in a series of 6 Music Live sessions, with the former Smiths guitarist playing tracks such as Playland’s Easy Money and Getting Away With It, the debut single by Electronic, his collaboration with New Order’s Bernard Sumner.

For something a little more bucolic, below is a performance from the Swedish folk sisters First Aid Kit, who entered the famous Maida Vale studios two weeks after their sold out Royal Albert Hall show and following a year which has seen Klara and Johanna Söderberg release their revered third album Stay Gold.
