Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie will host this year's Radio Festival with guest speakers including Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne.
This year's event will take place between 31 October and 2 November at its new regular home at the MediaCityUK development in Salford.
The Radio Academy chief executive, John Myers, said a "brilliant lineup" of speakers would be unveiled over the next few weeks, including Bannatyne, who will talk about motivating talent at a time when stars' salaries are under increasing scrutiny.
Radcliffe, who recently moved with his co-presenter Maconie from Radio 2 to BBC 6 Music, said: "We are delighted to be involved, especially as its in Manchester and, as widely acknowledged radio beefcakes, we look forward to delivering some much needed glamour to proceedings."
