Eminem and Arctic Monkeys will headline this summer's V festival, and Primal Scream and Dizzee Rascal will top the bill on the second stage.

Other artists lined up for the festival, which takes place on 20 and 21 August in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, include Tinie Tempah, Rihanna, Jessie J, Plan B, Kaiser Chiefs, the Script, Razorlight, the Courteeners, the Wombats, Ellie Goulding, the Saturdays and N-Dubz.

The festival director, Bob Angus, said he was proud of the breadth of talent performing throughout the weekend on the other stages.

Organisers said they were trying to make the festival more luxurious this year by setting up ready-built yurts and pop-up hotel rooms for accommodation.
